Hi, I have made a number of posts here about GPUs before but not after the GTX760 release. I need some advice as to which GPU to go for. I have around £1400 to spend, however, my budget for a PC I was hoping to keep under £1000! Here is my current basket:

YOUR BASKET
1 x HIS HD 7950 IceQ X² BOOST 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (H795QMC3G2M) £269.99
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail with FREE Grid 2 PC Game £194.99
1 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TD250BW) £141.95
1 x Gigabyte Z87X-D3H Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £131.99
1 x NZXT Phantom 410 Enthusiast Midi Tower Case - Gun Metal £84.95
1 x Microsoft Windows 8 64-Bit DVD - OEM (WN7-00403) £79.99
1 x Corsair Builder Series CX 750W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020061-UK) £78.98
1 x Corsair Vengeance Pro Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (CMY8GX3M2A1600C9B) £67.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £53.99
Total : £1,119.82 (includes shipping : £12.50).

Now I am in a big dilemma over what GPU to go for. I have been flitting between cards for the last two weeks, but will be ordering in 7 days time so I would really like to get a final build together before that time is up so I am ready to order as soon as I have the money in my grubby little mitts!

As I see it there are a large number of options:

1x 7970
or
1x GTX 770
or
1x GTX 680
or
2x 7950
or
2x GTX 670
or
2x GTX 760

Bear in mind that the 2x cards I would be buying one now and then one at XMAS, I am very aware however that AMDs 8*** series will be coming out by then and I don't want to waste my money on outdated tech

I have been looking at benchmarks and to be honest I don't see any major differences between the similar cards eg. 7970, 680, 770.

I will be gaming at 1920x1080p for now, looking to upgrade my monitor at some point as I only have an everyday entertainment monitor.

Currently, I am playing on an Alienware M11x R1, so anything I get is going to feel like a huge upgrade. I will be looking to play games like Bioshock, Crysis, BF3/4, ESO (when it is released) and GW2.

Help!

Thanks so much!
