Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me.

I bought a PC from OC around June of last year and it's been a real treat other than the fact I get utterly random freezes.

The computer completely stops without an error message or sound loop - just freezes, and once I hard restart the machine the errors goes away for up to weeks at a time.

Surely if it were hardware failure the problem would occur more frequently?

Does anyone have any idea about this?

My spec is:

Vista Ultimate 64
Intel Extreme QX9650 @ 3.0GHz
ASUS P5N-T Deluxe
4GB RAM
2x 8800GTX in SLi
Creative Soundblaster Extreme Pro Gamer, or something - I can never remember the full title.

Oh, and nothing is overclocked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would imagine your PSU is beefy enough. Try running memtest to see if theres a issue with your RAM. Other than than that check your using the latest drivers. Could be an issue there. I had random crashes with 8600GT which stopped when I updated the gfx drivers

I've updated all the drivers for all appropriate hardware pretty much as soon as they're released and the problem has never gone away.

Nonetheless, I will do a search for new downloads and hit up some memtest.
