i had a trial for some software i was using, its now ended after 3 days, so i uninstalled and reinstalled but thats not enough as something is left on the pc.

How do i go about compltely removing it from my pc?

I think its really bad that programs leave stuff still on your pc even though its been uninstalled.

You need to remove any remaining registry entries.

If you know what you are doing, this can be done manually using regedit.

If you are not confident doing this then you will need to use registry cleaning software such as Regcleaner or Reg Supreme. These will also do the job quicker.

Be advised - these programs are not completely foolproof, back up your registry before you start.

Using such means to extend trial periods is not recommended - it is at best unethical and if you have to do it every 3 days will become a complete PITA!

thanks for the reply.

I have regcleaner just enver used it as didn't completely know what it was for. Will have a try now.

I probably will end up buying the softawre anyways as its only £13 for 6 months and it makes me that in half hours work, but its just i'd like to know in future anyways how to do this and now is perfect oportunity

thanks again
