Completely removing old soundcard drivers

Hi there, I bought a new soundcard recently which was working fine at first although I believe there's a conflict with the new drivers and my old soundcard's drivers. I'd like to completely remove all drivers and reinstall the new ones, as I cannot boot with the soundcard plugged in (am using old one at the moment), I know the new soundcard works as i've just tested it on another cobbled together PC.

I've gone through the usual uninstallation in add/remove programs however there's a part of the program which I cannot uninstall somehow, I click remove and the menu flashes for a second but nothing actually begins uninstalling.

The soundcard is an M-Audio Delta 1010.

Does anyone know of a program similar to Driver Cleaner which gets rid of all the old traces? I'd have a look in regedit and can find some parts of the drivers although I'm a little cautious of deleting things like a mad man.

I did begin to reformat although now it seems my USB keyboard doesn't want to let me boot from CD ;)

Anyone have any suggestions? (This may be moved to the Windows forum?)

Ta.
