Hi guys, bear with me.

I want to go wireless and obviously being in OCUK want the very best, fastest wireless mankind has currently invented! The strange thing is that the laptop will always, 100% be used in exactly the same position.

Now, I have already kind of decided to replace my currently slow 'G' wireless router with one of these bad boys:

My question in on the LAPTOP side of things (my laptop has RJ45 connector and USB ports):

Should I be going for THIS usb thingy for the laptop side of things:

Or, bearing in mind I only care about speed, forget the USB port on the laptop and go for some n+ RJ45 to N+ wireless thing maybe like this (I know this exact one isn't N++ but its so you get the idea):

?

Remember mobility is not an issue the laptop will never change position. The only thing I care about is speed. RJ45 to wireless thingy, or USB wireless thingy? Or makes absolutely no difference?

Any help greatly appreciated.

HD video content, and my wife refuses absolutely point blank to have a huge ugly RJ45 cable strewn around the house (which would obviously give best results ...)

I can't run plug socket thingies as they'd have to be plugged into 2 different 'ring mains' so the internet says it'd be shockingly slow :(

Electrician -- interesting thought actually .. if it's cheaper than wireless and faster, I'm thinking 'why not'
