Hi, I recently just bought all the part for my computer. I put it together, but when I turn it on only the fan, the "ON" LED and the other light (not HDD light) turn on.
The equipment in my computer are as follows:
AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition "125W Edition" 3.20GHz
Corsair XMS3 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Single-Channel Module
HIS ATI Radeon HD 5570 1024MB GDDR3 SILENT PCI-Express Graphics Card
ASRock M3A770DE AMD 770 (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard
Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
OcUK Zeus Tower Case - Black (450W PSU)

If anyone help with this problem it would be much appreciated.

try one stick of ram at a time, then try different ram slots too.

graphics card power supply plugged in?

cpu heatsink fan cable plugged into the correct CPU-FAN connector on the board.

The CPU fan is working fine. But the graphics card doesn't have a power supply. My main problem is that I'm not getting any visuals on my moniter, and the DVD-RW (through IDE) isn't lighting up and neither is my SATA HDD.

Could my motherboard be dead?

Though this motherboard provides 8-pin ATX 12V power connector,
it can still work if you adopt a traditional 4-pin ATX 12V power
supply. To use the 4-pin ATX power supply, please plug your
power supply along with Pin 1 and Pin 5

Along with Pin 1 and 5, what does that mean?
Also I talked to a 'technical' mate from work, and he said that the power supply is **** and I should get a more powerful one, what do you guys think?

Any recommendation for a decent power supply, as I'm pretty sure that the PSU is the problem.
Also I plugged in my usb mouse when the computer was on, and the mouse was not light up as it normally is, does this mean the psu needs replacing?

So I should take the mobo out of the case and try to run the system?
Also, if the motherboard was the problem, would there be any visual signs.
One more thing, if any of the parts were faulty do OCUK send a new one, or how does it work?
Thanks.

I can't get the set it up to turn on when its outside the case, as the wires dont go far enough. but here is the BIV

I though the problem was that the current PSU wasn't producing enough power; the one you've shown me is less power than my current one. Or have I misunderstood?

Lol, message recieved load and clear. But before I actually go and buy a new PSU are there any checks I need to do to MAKE SURE its the PSU.
All fans spin
All lights light up (except hdd light on front of case)
optical and hard disk drives doent work
GPU does not work (well theres no dvi/hdmi output)

hope that info helped.

Just reassembled everything but to no avail. USB and disk drives still don't respond and neither no GPU output.
So it's either the PSU or the mobo right?
I'll give customer service a call tomoz
