I'm not sure if i should get the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R or the Asus P6X58D-E motherbard. I need to know if i can fit te Asus Xonar (PCi-Express version) and the Asus 5850 on the bairds easily. I see that the PCi-e slots are very close to the heatsinks- will thos cause a problem - also will the Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler fir without any problems. Many thanks. I'll be running ths system with an intel Core i7 920 DO OC'd to 4GHz with 6GB of RAM (don;t know whicj yet but it needs to be low enough for the Noctua cooler.

They should fit grand, this is my rig with sli gpu's and an asus xonar dx pcie soundcard,

The soundcard is fitted into he top pcie x4 slot above the top gpu, with a single gpu you can stick the soundcard in any pcie slot, prior to running sli i had mine in the 2nd x16 slot, generally ive noticed that the asus boards have better slot spacing than the gigabyte boards, particularly for multiple gpu's.
