Component settings on LE26R41B/Xbox 360

Hey guys, had this on VGA for a bit when I got this TV this morning but I'm using that port for the PC now, however I've just tried component and it looks a lot jaggier and a lot darker, does anyone have some settings they recommend for this TV using component? Thanks in advance.

Its probably best to try for yourself as everyone has their own preferences.

I doubt you will be able to do anything about the jaggies, thats one of the drawbacks of using component over VGA. I tried VGA but the colours were just horribly washed out, no amount of tinkering could make it look good. Shame as the improvement in sharpness of the picture was great.

The only things I can remember about my component settings on my 23" Samsung is that I have the colour tone set to something like "Cool" which adds a slightly blueish tint.

Probably best to go into a game with one of those brightness/colour charts in the settings and play about with the TV settings.

I've gone back to VGA now, not at all impressed by component on either of my LCD TV's so I've ordered another VGA for the other one, it seems the picture is much sharper than component but VGA is slightly brighter.

I have my 360 attached to componant on my LG 26" hidef tv, I have to say I havent noticed any jaggies on either RR6 or GR3, havent tried vga for comparison though

On Component I had to turn brightness up and VGA turn it down but overall VGA was noticebly better looking overall on my sammy
