Composite Video Cable to VGA

I have various TFT's that don't have any TV functions just VGA and DVI, i got the impression you can't go straight from composite to vga but does anyone know of a box of tricks that will do this? Its to get my Wii on a TFT.

have a look for something like an avermedia tvbox , I use an older version to run a PS2 through an old 15" TFT
