Compression Fit Barbs

What size compression barbs do i need for 1/2" tubing,

Depends on the compression barb in question. For compression you need to match the inner and outer diameters, that said most 1/2" ID compression fittings appear to be designed for 3/4" OD, 1/8" wall thickness tube.

Confirmed what i thought,

Bloomin expensive little buggers too, approx £30+ for 8 of them.

... Indeed. Probably more trouble and worry than tight tube or clamps too. But they look good and sometimes looking good is worth the cost.

they are no trouble at all, had 7/16 tubing last time and much prefare these compression barbs over tight tubing and clamps anyday
