just building my first watercooling setup and am using compression barbs, is it wise to lube the rubber o-rings with some 100% pure silicone oil i have so when i tighten them down the o-ring does not grip the surrface and twist.
I'm pretty sure this would make leaks more likely. The O rings work just fine without any. By all means try it though, I'd be curious as to the result.
