I currently purchased these:

Asus T3-P5945GCX Barebones System - Intel Core 2 Duo (LGA775)

Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 2.80GHz (1066FSB) - Retail

Corsair XMS2 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX Dual Channel (TWIN2X4096-6400C5)

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (ST3250410AS)

Pioneer DVR-216DBK 20x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM

They all work absolutely great! :) - However, it is time to think of improvements.

I would like to keep the barebones, hard drive and processor.

However, these are the things I have been thinking of to purchase to improve the system a bit more.

Should I purchase these:

Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4670 Ultimate "Passive" 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail Because at the moment I am using on-board, and I know this graphic card can fit in this case.

LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray Reader & HD-DVD ROM Serial ATA Drive - Retail Because everything seems to be moving to Blu-Ray, so this might be a good decision to buy! :)

Eset NOD32 Antivirus v3 - Retail Because I like to have a Anti-Virus to be on the safe side.

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 (3 User) - Retail (79G-00007) Because I need Office. Simple as! :p

One last thing... I would like to improve my CPU cooler, does anyone know a good CPU cooler for the barebones I currently have?

Personally i think that £72 is far too much for a 4670. Another fiver get's you a faster 4830. You will need to check dimensions though.

Instead of paying £60 for MS Office why not give the free Open office a go?

Get a free AV as well? (im using avast!) Then push for a better card? eg 4830/50/70.....

Maybe a new cpu cooler and overclock... :D

I think the 4670 is the biggest I can go. Because of the 300w PSU in the barebones too. I mainly want a graphic card to play films through HDMI.

I really like NOD32, just my personal preference I guess.

Which CPU could I get that will be quieter and possibly better performance? - Needs to be around the same size as the stock cooler because I am very limited.

Personally I'd go for Kaspersky over NOD, but there's not a lot of price difference, so it's all down to your personal preference.

if you bank online with barclays you get a free copy of Kaspersky. so if your looking to cost cut that might be an idea, if you dont have a barclays account just find a firend who does it wont cost them anything extra...

I have a 4830 and seriously,KABOOM. make sure youve got a big enough case and clearance from drive bays etc because if a brick falls away from my house, i could use this card to replace it

As said by a few, open office instead of m$ office and avast free home edition for your AV. You seem to want to just throw money away?

You may want to spend the money you've saved on the aforementioned software on a new psu, as 300 watt is going to be struggling to run anything special. Even a 4830 could lead to a potential BANG!
