Computer Based CCTV

Hi, Not sure where to put this really.

Recently my garage was broken into, appeared to be a targeted attack on specific items in there. My garage is detached with no means of providing electric to it, hence looking at some outdoor CCTV cameras.

What experience of this do you guys have? anyone seen or heard of anything that would fit my purpose.

Requirements:
Does not cost the earth!
Needs night vision for at least 20meters in pure darkness area has some ambient light around but is about 50meters away.
Ideally I can integrate it to my home server to store the footage.

well the value of the contents stolen (see bike thread) was into the ££££'s so Im willing to lay out enough but not £££'s and £££'s

Cheers I will look into them the ones I found to start with only had a short range.

Oh yes, they know they, sort of said other than fitting an alarm there wasn't much more i could do to stop them since they believe the people were determine to get inside, and apparently most people dont listen to alarms these days!

Renni_95 i have been looking at those sort of options but i think I will end up triggering it!!

I also thought about the additional IR lights but like you say there will be loads of extra reflection too!
