After 2 years of uni with a ebay special full of random parts I've managed to get a decent gaming rig to start me off

I7 3770k
16gb corsair vengeance
As rock extreme 4 z77
Palit jet stream 670gtx
Phantom nzxt case
Tx650w

Finally a decent system to start, however I really don't know where to go with it, this is where hopefully you guys will come in...

I want this as my main gaming rig, as I don't come across good systems often, so i plan on keeping this for the foreseeable future

I need advice on the cpu cooler, I have a h50 atm but really don't trust it, so i need to update, what do you guys think?? Maybe a noctua or h100???

I also am unsure of any ssds, m4/vertex/830/840 are good but I only want a cheap ish one for my os,

I don't really think water cooling is available to me yet but hopefully sli one day, but any design feature you guys recommend would be useful I want to make this unique!!

I will update his thread every so often with pictures too!! So get your thinking caps on guys,

Ste

really bar an SSD there is not much you can change to improve it in real terms, the 3770k will run every game out there at stock without issues so until the new GPU's launch or you decide to go to multi monitor setups i think your best to save the pennies.

I would grab one of the samsung SSD's a cheap 830 or one of the 840's, go for at least 120Gb and put your steam folder on there too, use steam mover to shift all the games not currently in your playing rotation onto a storage drive to maximise space and performance

Is steam mover a program? And I don't install games I have on steam that I don't really play anymore... Not really much point!! But I have 3TB so I can have the main games on the SSD and the other on the 3TB is that what you mean?

And I am looking into 3 monitors gaming, if not now, eventually when I have more space, is it worth the sli when I do?

Also cooling wise I'm still really not sure... H50 just doesn't cut it for me.... H100 or a Noctua I can get hold of, or but will need to replace the fans so any top static fans makes/models will help please
