Hi, I just specced my first PC and I'm getting ready to order and build (for the first time >.>)

I was just wondering if this is an alright build and good value;

Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L motherboard
BFG GF 8800GT 512MB OC PCI-E
Corsair - TWIN2X4096-6400C5 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) PC2-6400 DDRII-SDRAM PC
Intel Core 2 Duo Desktop Processor E8400
Antec EarthWatts 500W Power Supply Unit
320GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10
Pioneer DVR-115DBK 20x Int. DVDRW Black Bare
Lancool K7 - Midi Tower

And with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit

All together for around 600 pounds with delivery I think, some parts I had to order from a different place >.>
And lastly, money wise - is it a good price?

Thanks in advance >.>... building a computer is not simple

love that case nice choice (you might want to change the fans though)

get this hdd instead its on offer :P 7 32mb cache is great

Seagate 500gb

not a big fan of antec psu's

Corsair 750w

For the sake a few extra quid much better & will allow you to crossfire or sli anything.

Mobo is a bit dated imo

Asus P45

1000s time better bit extra but you get what you pay for.

also the 8800 is outdated these days get a 4850 instead & with that mobo & psu in a years time you can stick in a second and crossfire them.

Asus 4850

you will end up spending a bit more but you getting much more for you money & much more flexabilty.
