I'm currently looking to get a new PC case for a rig I will be building soon. Im leaning towards the Corsair air 540 case and it looks really nice! Has anyone had any experience with this case, good or bad?

If you guys could also suggest other quality cases that would be great, budget is not really an issue!

I think we're going to need a little more information than that. OCUK sell many cases at many price points. For what will the PC be used? Where will it be used? Are there environmental issues like sound, size, and colour? Are you going to use air cooling, a CLC, or a custom water loop?

As above, and how many SSD/HDD drives do you plan on mounting in the long run as it's a tad limited in that regard although plenty for most user's needs.

The Corsair 540 Air is a great case cooling-wise (air/CLC), although custom water is also possible. Some units can be a bit rattly, mesh vibrating on other parts etc. Most of those issues are fixable.

The stock fans are the noisy-ish variety, i.e. sure you can reduce the RPM and thereby the noise but their mechanical noise is a bit louder than others.

Getting a dust filter for the bottom and for the PSU intake at the back (or side) is recommended. Lot of dust gets in otherwise.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £26.68
(includes shipping: £8.70)

The Silverstone 320x155 fits the bottom perfectly, might need a bit of blue-tack or double-sided sticky tape to keep it in position. Has magnetic strips but the parts of the case it touches is mostly plastic, plus it's hanging below the case, so no help from mavity. The Demciflex 200mm is plenty to cover the PSU area and no issues with the magnetic strip there.

Great case for its time, things have moved on, imo (tempered glass, better quality fans on other cases), but not so much it still isn't worth it if you love the looks of it.
