Computer causing distortion on Hifi's radio?!

Hi everyone

Got a strange problem. Whenever the computer is on, every radio around the house (regardless of the radio station being listened to) is suffering rhythmic distortion... i.e. 2 seconds of a slight hiss (similar to when your radio isn't quite tuned perfectly), then the next 2 seconds its fine... etc etc

I've moved the aerials around which seemed to help momentarily, but then it started happening again.
I don't have a WIFI network here, or any bluetooth... any ideas?

something not plugged in properly, try reseating all your connectors and components, if no joy i suspect the power supply or the mains cable (or socket, especially if its spurred off another), try plugging it in elsewhere in the house to test this
