Ok, so I had Laminate flooring put down in my room, but now Im finding that the wheels from my computer chair (at least I think thats what it is) are beginning to scratch the flooring.. and once Laminate is scratched.. it's scratched.

So what Im wondering is, do any of you know an alternative (other than buying a new chair, as some of you will most probably suggest lol) to stop this. I was thinking some sort of rubber to replace the plastic wheels however I dont know where I could buy the pads from.

Cut a long story short.. do any of you know where I can buy rubber pads to replace the plastic wheels (not rubber wheels please) for my pc chair? :P

A few of them seem realistic to me, or are you posting from the site of Scrapheap Challenge?

Apologies, but if you'd put condoms on your wheels then you're strange :p as I dont find THAT realistic lol (Thats what I meant :p)

Also, I didnt think you could use hard floor wheels with laminate as I dont have real wood floor and it wouldnt make a difference.. Would it?

Laminate is still a hard floor even if it is a bit squidgy.

The only difference from your current wheels is they would have a soft surface.

Ikea's website says the wheels are partially made from Polyurethane - the same stuff as roller skate/skateboard wheels are made from - so it at least implies they will be soft.
