I was playing Crysis was on the carrier part and it started to become really laggy then froze then it crashed to home screen then the everything froze so i had to restart and i didn't get any error messages. Everything is at Stock speed and Volts. Memory is at 1.8V so could not enough volts be causing this problem?

I have ran memtest 86- through 1 test that took 38mins and came back with no errors.

What could be the problem and what other solutions shall I try?

Does this happen all the time or was it just a one off, check the memory modules these should have the recommended voltage and timmings stamped on them.

Are you running 2 x 2gb or 4 x 1 gb modules, you might need to up the NB voltage if running 4 x 1gb

I am running 4 x 1gb 6200 OCZ Gold Edition the ones on OcUK for £19.99

I didn't always happen seems to be the more intense parts everything is slower like saving etc.

You monitoring the temperatures of you CPU and graphics card while you play? Maybe something is getting toasty.

Well 80 is probably fine, though watch out with the 4870, the memory is usually about 10 degrees hotter than the GPU. On mine at least.
