Computer Crashing

Hey guys, i recently upgraded my pc and it has been working fine since all the new parts have been installed until 2-3 days ago it has been crashing a lot while playing wow. Today i couldnt even get passed the loggin screen without crashing. I finally got into the game and it crashed right away so i hit the reset button and got the windows did not start up properly message. No matter what option I take it will go to the windows xp loading screen then just restart itself. Could anyone help me here??

Specs:
AMD Athalon 64 3200
9800 pro
1gb of mix and match ram (1x512 512 geil value and 1x512 no brand)
asrock mobo

Im a newbie to this computer stuff so bare with me guys, whats an AV? Its a Maxtor 160gb sataII hard drive. I hit the reset button because i could not reboot the computer, i tried ctrl alt and delete it didnt work, tried to tab out etc I dont know if they are the latest drivers, I used the CD which came with it so chances are they are not the latest drivers

edit: lol yes i ahve been running anti virus
