Computer freezes when hard drive clicks (SSD boot drive)...

From my experience for such said cards they need to be sat in the slot just right as in dont screw them in too hard as this moves the card from the connectors causing data and possible power issues. Thats my experience with them and has caused issues not seating them right.

Thanks for the advice. Will add that to the list of things to try.

Else might have to grab one if those ASUS U3S6 cards. Could use the extra USB ports too :)

I would get a second opinion on some different software before returning, the spin up time could be wrong if it's decided to record the time it takes to spin up all your drives sequentially. Ideally you would be best getting an error code from the software supplied by whoever is offering the warranty.

Hmm, interesting.

Yeah I guessed I'd have to get some kind of error on Seatools for the drive to be classed as faulty.
Going to do a full scan now. Gonna take 7hrs :p

Looks like it may have been something as simple as a faulty SATA data or power cable.

I switched them both out after finding out it was not a problem with the Samsungs, but one of my Seagate drives.
I replaced both cables + switched ports on the mobo and so far so good.
