Computer Freezing Buzzing sound

Hi this is my first post so don't be too annoyed if this is in the wrong place but I recently built a new PC, all worked fine for about a day or 2 then while playing Arma 2 my pc froze and the cursor began to stutter every few seconds and any sounds on my pc would loop for a few secs even when I exited the game it carried on so I restarted and every thing was fine, it did this a few other times over the next few days but only on arma 2, but now its doing it on nearly on anything which involves use of the graphics card such as youtube , minecraft and now the pc has started to fully freeze and crash in games which use up a lots of power usually with no bsod . I've re installed the graphics drivers and this did nothing and now I'm a bit stuck.

here are my specs:
Mob: Gigabyte z77-d3h
cpu: Intel core i7 3770k not over clocked
Graphics: Ati Radeon 6950 2gb
psu: ocz 750w

also the graphics card and psu where used with my old motherboard and cpu and worked perfectly

are you using the latest bios? setting up ram manually or enable x.m.p if it supports it,also set the bclk to 100

set voltage response to fast

yea it is the latest bios I updated the other day thinking it might help it didn't , and any tutorials on how to do any of that ?

i only have this,remember this is a 4.5ghz overclocking guide so ignore all the settings apart from

bclk/cpu clock to 100
cpu voltage response to fast
and maybe pwm phase control to extreme

leave all other settings

Didn't work just made the pc bsod on start up Tried it with and without pwm set to extreme here is what caused them:
With PWM set to auto:

Have you considered removing AVG?

I had the same problem and found removing the xmp profile worked for me.
