Computer freezing, is it drivers?

I'm having troubles with my computer freezing whilst playing games. I know it's not hardware because I've had my computer sent off to the manufacturer who have replaced my 400 watt power supply with a 700 watt one. They also replaced my GTX 650 because the fan was rattling and they replaced it with a 650 Ti. Now they found nothing wrong at all with the hardware but I have had many issues in the past regarding drivers. I've had BSODs and freezes. I can give you a list of all my software installed if you need but I'm mainly thinking of formatting my HDD again for the 3rd time for similar reasons and I can't help but think it's related to do with the motherboard drivers I have, they come on a disc but I remember the first time I installed them my computer blue screened straight away. I have a P8H77-M LE motherboard from ASUS. I also want to make sure this time if I do format my HDD that I install the right drivers. Should I download them from the discs or should I download them off the internet? Thanks.

Do you have anything listed in event viewer related to the hangs / crashes?

Also, never use the drivers that come with the disk. You can find the exact ones you need on nvidia's support website.

I've checked the event viewer and I've found nothing suspicious. Also I never download the graphics drivers from the disc. I download the P8H77-M LE drivers from the CD as well as the TPLINK Wireless Client Utility from the CD. I do not need the wireless client utility soon because I am getting a wired connection set up this weekend.
