Hey people,

back when i had vista every so often my computer would freeze and i had to reboot no matter when i overclocked or ran it on stock...

now been on windows 7 for a few months and its starting to happen again, seems to happen allot when listening to music on youtube :(

had my processor today at 3.6Ghz as i have had for over a month now and wehn i ran 25 loops of intel burn test it was perfect with hardlyany increase in Gflops, however today i ran a stability test see the speed range from 27.7 to 29.2 and this is now with the cpu at stock speeds and volts:S

what is my CPU FSB voltageat stock ment to be so i can make sure it is set up right but why the sudden issues?

could my hard drive be on its way out again? its another seagate drive i had one that died on me last year :(

thanks

If you think the hard-drive could be faulty then test it with the manufacturers diagnostic . . .

I had a similar issue last year and it turned out my second data drive was going faulty, didn't really find this out until Windows wouldn't fully boot up, after some headscratching I disconnected the second data drive and windows started working fine again, drive was totally borked!

If it ain't the drive it could be a dying PSU, it could be something overheating or maybe a memory related error?

I'd suspect the PSU in this situation.. What PSU are you using?

Do you have another PSU kicking around so you can test?

no other PSU kicking arround,

its a cooler master 700W modular PSU i have

litterally 5 mins ago i jsut had my screen flickering as well :( onyl for 10 secconds or so think i better quickly back my work up

also no high temps but i also don't get why the big differnces all of a sudden on IBT in the gflop section :(

Ok everything in bios is set back to absolute default here is the results from IBT
