Hi,
Can someone please help me with a problem I have had for quite some time now.
This is my computer specs
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Motherboard.
Intel core i7 920 D0 Stepping CPU
Corsair 6gb (3x2gb) 2,000MHz Memory
2 x Western Digital Velociraptor 150GB 10,000rpm Hard Drive and 1x 300GB Western Digital Velociraptor
CoolerMaster Real Power 1250w Power Supply
Cooler Master V10 Hybrid TEC Cooler
I built this computer to run Flight Simulator FSX and the problem started from day one with the frame rates stuttering slightly and as time has gone on it has just got worse to the extent that now it some time's just freezes altogether and I finish up having to turn the computer off altogether and then re-booting, it has got that bad that it is almost unusable.
I know my computer is set up properly and I know there is no problems with the flight sim, I have been on the flight sim forums but nothing there seems to help.
I am convinced there is something wrong with the hard ware either the processor or the memory, when I bought the memory it had just come out onto the market and not long after it's launch it was recalled due to a problem with the chip, however I did purchase mine after the relaunch.
If anyone knows what it could be I would appreciate any help.
Thanks and kind regards Kevin.
