Never heard of the psu before, but the rest of the parts will eat games at high resolutions and maximum settings.

hello there,

assuming your playing on one monitor, yes that system is powerful enough.
what I want to ask is, what kind of PSU is that? From what I found through google it has an active PFC but I would use a respected brand.

psu

well.the psu is brand "kraun" as i said. wanted tp know if it might be not good enough. it was recommended by a pc shop last summer as i was working in italy at the time. do u think it might be not good enough?
thanks

well, if that data sheet is for real then it wont be enough.
Never skimp on the PSU. A good PSU will output its rated wattage without a sweat, last for years and if something goes wrong, won't take all of your system with it.
A cheap PSU however will struggle to cope anything near its reference wattage and when it does go boom, it will take some of your components with it.

I would ditch the PSU asap - you must be running £1000 worth of equipment there, you really don't want a poor PSU to go boom and take out your kit.

The GTX 470 is a high power graphics card - on the box it says that you need a PSU with a minimum of 38A on the 12V rail, i'm not sure that PSU can provide that.

If you are looking for recommendations - something like this would be the minimum I would go for considering your system.
