Hiya guys, im on my phone as title suggests, so sorry for being breif.

I was on my computer this morning, just fine. Working perfectly as it always does.

I accidentally pulled my usb mouse out the back, plugged it back in, but the game I was playin (csgo) stopped responding and so did the computer, had to force a hard reset. Turning the computer back on everything was fine again, but about 30 seconds later it froze again. Turned everything off at wall, waited 5 mins to be sure. Turned everything back on, pressed the power button and now the computer doesnt boot, post bios and the monitor just says no signal.

Im not new to computers, have built many in the past, and have fixed problems, but this has stopped me in my tracks.

Abit more info on what happens...

All lights come on and work, all fans work. Hdds works, dvd drive works, 3d cards work and fans work. But not bios post and ceterainly no windows. The hdd light on case stays lit all the time too.

Gigabyte p55-ud6, i5 760, 4gb g.skill ram, 1 ssd and 2 hdds, 1000w 80amp 4 rails psu.

Please help anyone :-(

you probably need to clear the cmos, this will reset your sios settings, just power of pc and pop the motherboard battery out, leave it out for 30mins and then put back in and power pc up

if this dosent work, does using the oin board gfx output work?

try reseating the gfx card if it does.

I will try resetting cmos in a min. My mothered hasnt got on board video.

Gigabyte P55-UD6.

Ill let ya know how the cmos reset goes. Ill leave the battery out for atleast 30mins :-)

Well the reset CMOS worked just fine, got to get my BIOS back to how I had (overclocking and SSD enabled) but thats fine.

My motherboard has a clear CMOS button, pressed that, turn PC on, works fine :) very happy!

Just can't beleive I never even thought about clearing CMOS, im 27, played about with PC's since I was 12 lol.
I even took everything out, cleaned everything, and put it all back together, including new thermal paste on CPU and Heatsink. Didnt think about CMOS though... :-(

thank you very much though people! I was looking for new motherboards and cpu :-( hehe.

Cheers again!
