Hi folks, apologies if this is in the wrong place.
My computer is about 2 years old, i paid roughly about 900 pounds for it, and built it myself.
The last few months its became ridicoulsly slow and infected with spyware etc, and the internet was just dragging itself along, its virgin media optical broadband, so i knew it couldnt have been the connection, because it runs fine on the laptop.
So, yesterday, i re-installed windows 7. I have two drives, 1 x 128gb SSD drive, for windows and a few games, and my second drive 500gb sata, for photos videos etc. I also formatted this drive.
The windows install took like 15 minutes, i thought it was longer than this..
Anyway, i downloaded all the drivers i needed, however, the chipset driver for my asus P8z77-v LX2, would pop up saying "this system does not meet the minimum requirements for this install"
Its the official driver from asus. So i dont know whats going on.
I then noticed, it was still pretty slow on the net, and firefox kept crashing and freezing.
When i scroll down a page, its the same kind of effect as if the graphics drivers arent installed? But they are upto date.
Just looking to see if anyone has any ideas???
