hey all, I have a massive computer in my living room which I am going to move to my bedroom. I have a hd 6950 which will drive one monitor in my living room and one in my bedroom, I have a 10 metre hdmi cable and I was wondering what type of wireless keyboard and mouse should I look for that will be able to connect to my computer in my room. My bedroom is in the next room to my living room, otherside of the wall basically :D will any wireless keyboard do?

Hmm, I think you might struggle although I'm sure there are quality wireless peripherals you could look at. Unfortunately you might be reduced to testing one by one. I would definitely try and get something with reviews on the subject of signal strength though.

I used to use a Logitech keyboard and mouse set, I think it was the MX3200. This worked from one room to the other (PC was upstairs connected to tv in the room below).

I think it used an RF receiver which i think makes a difference, and also the distance between the receiver and where the keyboard is going to be used.

When I wanted this set-up, I used a USB extension cable and ran it through the wall with the IR received for the keyboard on the other side. I use a wired keyboard at my desk, and wireless in the bedroom, with the IR receiver on that side of the wall. In that case even a cheap wireless keyboard will do. I like the Keysonic portable keyboard, though because it's cheap, compact and easy to use on my lap. It has a trackpad too if you don't need to mouse every time.
