Having issues with a computer here.
Computer appears to load fine but as soon as windows xp loads you get a black screen and the mouse appears, but the computer is completly locked up and the mouse can't be moved etc, only way to get out of it is to hold off button.
Tried chkdsk /r, fixboot and a repair none of which works.
Problem was caused by it being switched off at mains while installing a program, anyone got any ideas ?
EDIT: I should mention safe mode has same problem...
