I have a fairly frustrating wireless keyboard which cuts out and doesn't work again until you restart the PC. Unfortunately, when it happened this time I was midway through a game of Two Worlds. I couldn't get back to the desktop, so had to do a hard reset. When it restarted, nothing (no Gigabyte splash or anything) came up until it suddenly reached the Windows password screen. Here, the little timer remained up and I couldn't click in the password box-the hard drive was chugging away.
I turned it off and back on again, and this time everything spun up and powered back down before it finally switched itself on normally. I am running an HD test with HD tune, and it is all fine so far. I will run Memtest afterwards, but it doesn't seem like a RAM problem as there were no BSODs. Any ideas?
I am running an E4500, HD3850, Gigabyte P35C=DS3R, 3GB PC5300 Ballistix and a Seagate 7200.10 320GB HDD on Vista Home Premium 32bit.
