computer just took a fit

didnt know where to put this so its going here for the time being.

my computer just took a fit and died on me, it usually makes a click sound just as it turns off normally...it was doing this over and over when it was still running...then i got the blue screen of death and it died

any ideas what could be causing it?

Clicking sound to me sounds like HDD on its way out/dead. It will be one of the heads crashing.

Did it make this click before the BSOD?
