Computer mags

I've given up on computer mags these days, too much is available online to justify spending the cash on one imo. :)

I subscribed to CustomPC and had every edition. Then I just fell out of love with it, Id skip through the mag so fast purely because i would have read all in it on the net.

That said I still think its the best for the PC nut :)

Custom PC, but it is very expensive, but I find it a good read whether i have read about some it before, second opinions don't hurt.

Got a copy of last months micromart aswell, and it has changed so much from a year ago. Was a bad read, its all linux and very little hardware now

I occasionally read custom pc when on a train. I recommend ignoring everything they ever say regarding overclocking, on the grounds that the conditions they test under are ridiculous and the results meaningless, but aside from that it's reasonable.

For myself and the kids when we first got into PC's a mag called ComputerActive, was avery good mag, but after awhile used the net to get any info on anything to do with computers reviews etc..

CPC, although occasionally I'll pick up PC Pro or something similar if I'm taking a train somewhere. most info and good review can be found online these days, but if I didn't get the mag delivered I'd have nothing to read on the toilet!
