Computer monitor & Sky box black screen

Hello

I'm trying to connect my computer monitor to my sky box but all im getting is a black screen. Green light on monitor is constantly on so its receiving some sort of signal.

Monitor is a 24" BenQ G2420HDBL. Using a dvi to hdmi cable.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe that monitor doesn't support HDCP as it has no Hdmi input..

What is HDCP?

It does support DHCP, I checked

Have you got another TV you can plug the sky box into so you can change the sky box output setting to something else ?

I would have expected it to work at 720p..
