My new PC was working for about a day just fine until yesterday night when all of a sudden I went to turn it on and it wouldn't start properly! The machine starts up for about a second and the fan starts etc then it cuts off.. It will then come back again only to again, cut off. I have used different wall sockets, power cables and checked my connections in the case and still nothing..

What are my next step(s)???

Thankss!

IS the system clocked and what is the complete spec?

For now detatch all the hdds, dvds etc - leaving only the gfx card, 1 stick of memory and the CPU/HS installed

Clear the CMOS.

Then test to see if you can get into the BIOS - if you can load optimised defaults and post back.

No its not
