computer not liking drivers

i bought the compuetr in my sig a few months ago. everything has been absolutly fine (except for a faulty DVD drive).

however, my computer seems to refuse to keep its drivers in working order, and i have no idea why. here are some examples ive had:

- far cry performance went really bad a lot. solution: reinstall graphics drivers
- xbox microphone stops working as a mic. solution: reinstall xbox drivers
- screen tear in any sort of moving pictures. solution: reinstall graphics drivers

can anyone think of whats going wrong?

(if you say update my drivers i may have to kill you )

Yes you did. Have you run chkdsk on your HDD, might be a dodgy area where the drivers are being installed to.

Perhaps a dodgy install of Windows... had any other issues?

nope, not a single other issue. ive also done a small test on the hard drive that was in CPUz but nothing came up there

Perhaps the mic issue is just a coincidence with relation to the graphics issues. Try a full removal of the graphics drivers using drive sweeper in safe mode and putting them back on.

unfortunately thats not the problem. would have loved to see Buchanan eating his shoes
