Have you formatted the second hard drive? I'd check the 'Disk Management' section in your computer management console (right-click Computer and select Manage) to check what Vista is seeing.

ok about the cpu ocuk have sent me the wrong cpu they sent me a e4300 duel core

i have managed to sort the other hdd thank you!

The question I have to ask is why is your PC only running "vista basic" and not "vista aero"?

Perhaps he's running LimeWire for music sharing.. That disables Aero.. I found a couple of other applications which disable Aero as well. Kinda annoying, but I guess eventually all apps will be compatible.

the real question is why the retards at picking/packing didn't notice ;)

It happens.
Probably the items had the wrong OcUK part code on.
As all the CPU boxes look alike these days.
Last week I placed a large order with OcUK and instead of the 5x 320GB WD drives they accidentally sent us 5x 36GB Raptor's.

Annoying yes, but the only mistake OcUK have ever made in all the orders I've ever placed for home or work and they are being extremely quick to sort the problem out.

To answer your sort of question about why limewire used to give basic, was because of Java. when you update to a newer java. that has full support for all bells and whistles of full vista yadas
