Hi,

I have the following:

2x 4Gb Samsung Green RAM
2x 4Gb Corsair Vengeance RAM
8x 4Gb Corsair Dominator GT 2133Mhz RAM

Asus Rampage IV Extreme

Intel 4930k

Following an upgrade this is currently left over.

The problem I have is that RAM sockets C2 and D2 on the Rampage IV Extreme don't work and it's out of warranty.

I've just finished setting up a VM Host with 2 CPU's 64GB of RAM and a storage server with 18.6Tb of storage.

I also have a Maximus Impact VII, 4790k as a media PC and a Rampge V Edition 10 6850k as a gaming PC.

What should I do with the spare parts (considering the part working motherboard)?
 
Sorry:

My options are:
1. Sell the lot (inc broken RIVE)
2. Sell the CPU and get a cheaper one then build a new PC - but what for?
3. Repurpose the parts for a new PC - but what for?
 
Sell the lot and update your current PC, improving the GPU is normmaly a good start unless youve just bought one, then SLI is another good option.
