Heya,
Ok my mate has a problem with his computer.
He decided to put a spare stick of ram in his comp which he had and when he put it in and turned it on it didnt work. It actually turns on but no beep and the monitor just stays in stand by. The HD light comes on for a few seconds then goes of again. So he took out the memory and it still doesnt work.
He currently has a 256mb stick and 512mb, he put in another 256.
Hes tryed all the obvious things, flashed bios etc. Another mate thinks he might of fryed his motherboard.
Any ideas of things he can try?
