I've just had a few troublesome hours with the HTPC (Asus 6150 MATX, ATI PCI-E, AMD A64 4200X2, 2GB Corsair XMS RAM, M-Audio Revo 5.1, 2.5" WD and 3.5" Samsung)
Basically at post it'll just stop, and not do anything. Switch off, switch on and post warning says bios settings corrupt, so go back into BIOS and revert to default. Reboot and it hangs just after memory display. I reseated memory, ATX power, the two PCI cards, power atx and 4 pin power, and still had crashing problems.
Eventually (without me doing much except short out battery jumper about two dozen times) try and try again it's eventually got past and in Windows.
So what the blooming is the fault??
