I booted up my old pc earlier. Beasty 1Ghz AXIA on a KT7A with GF2 GTS that used to run 10x158mhz.

Anyway when it boots up it does the graphics card check ok and the bios stuff. Then does the usually beep. However the internal speaker then goes mental whilst the ram check is carried out then goes quiet for a second then goes mental again, then when windows should pop up it just black screens and the speaker goes silent. Hitting delete on the Ps2 keyboard wont let me get into the bios.

The harddrive failed about 18months ago, so I fitted one my housemate had spare and reinstalled windows etc and it worked fine. I then havent used it since.

It's been in my mates garage for about 6months and today was the first time I have turned it on. I have tried removing and refitting the the cards and Ram and booting up with just graphics card. Nothing has worked.

The internal speaker is plugged into the motherboard.

Any help would be great, i just want to use it as a download centre and media centre for my Xbox360

I've dropped it back down, infact I remember, it's now only a 800mhz. I forgot I sold the AXIA as I was no longer into overclocking. Its running at stock speeds

No damp as far as I know, was in my room for about 2months before I actually turned it on.

I'll try reseting the CMOS later.
