computer restarting

the last 48 hours my pc is rebooting itself a lot .. completey random times .. no game playing just when i'm either doing nothing or general surfing .. it it seem to be getting worse

its a new build .. ( in sig ) and ive only had it a few weeks reboots to mobo main screen and then restarts .

any help would be appreciated

i did a quick run of prime95 for 40 mins just now .. came back as ok ... but 2 mins after i closed the programme down it rebooted ... and then rebooted again 5 mins later ... this is gettign me down

Have a go at mem-testing your ram just to rule any problems with that.

Do you get a flash of blues screen when it reboots, can you install a the operating system on a different hd to check if it could be drivers.

its more a hint of green screen .. and its very fast ... i know what you mean by blue tho as its happened on my older pc ... not the same with this tho.. doesnt mem test need to be done from disc ? my blu ray drive has no write facilites
