computer restarts

when playing football manager my computer just re starts its done this in windows too. Any explanation?

Sounds like a power issue to me. You got any programs that can monitor your voltages?

no but im sure i could install one, my comp has never had this problem till now its strange.

Might be due to a setting which forces the system to shut down when there is excess heat.

Could be a heat prob? Check the temp's of your system. Also does it only do this for that game? If yes probably a driver issue.

Another vote for heat...any wierd things happening on screen before it shuts down?

Could be the power supply you know.

nope nothing happens on screen before it happens, Going to have a look at the psu and my temps.thanks for the help.

They seem fine, there pretty much right on the required voltages. Other than that the only thing i can think of is heat. My mates PC kept restarting because his CPU was hitting 110 degrees due to his heatsink being so clogged up, so it migth b e worth making sure your CPUs heatsink is clear and working properly, same for your GFX card if it has a fan.
