Wondering if anyone one could help me here because I have no idea what's going on with my PC.

This has been happening frequently over a long amount of time but it's really starting to get on my nerves now and hopefully the good people of OcUK will help me out!

After finishing playing a game and leaving the computer to idle for a bit (e.g. going downstairs to make food, eating it and comping back up 20-30 minutes later) i'll hop back on and scrolling through pages on the internet, moving windows around the desktop etc. feels horrible, like it's running at 15FPS. I've ran Malware Bytes and an Antivirus scan and both show nothing, it feels like there's something running in the background that isn't showing up and it seems to be using quite a bit of RAM. When I start the computer the RAM usage is around 500MB if I remember right, after this with the exact same amount of precesses running it's nearly a gig but usually more.

Does anyone know what's causing this and if so, how would I go about fixing it?

Right it's doing it now again. Just come back from a shower, made some food and it's acting up. What exactly am I looking for in this event viewer? I'll get screenshots and post them up in a bti after i've done eating. :p

Right, done as you said and it looks like i've got loads of errors though i'm not sure what they mean/are.

In applications I have 2059 errors with the red circle and exclamation point, various sources.

In system I have 23 critical errors, all of them are 'kernel-power' and 3781 errors.
