The computer turns on perfectly, but there is nothing on my screen plugged in through VGA, old computer
Im not sure of the specs
I know it has a 7800gtx gfx card
And a crap power supply not sure about other parts
Any ideas thanks

Did it work before? does the GPU need external power supply? try clear CMOS.
It doesnt need an external power supply
Yes it did work before just the wireless card broke a while back and i couldn't fix it so it was just sitting in my sisters room gathering dust.
Kind of a noob how do i clear CMOS is that the little battery thing?

Nope the graphics card works fine in this computer.. what else could it possible be
A hard drive failure?

Put your psu in the other pc? a pain i know.

The pc will boot up and display BIOS even without a HDD.

God that is a pain but i shall try none the less, nothing like a bit of trouble shooting :D
This old computer is like spaghetti though ehh

This did not work, and was not happy as while i was putting the PSU back in my computer i managed to break my monitor stand lmao, a bodge job to fix this...

I will try that at a later date it was not fun watching my monitor snap :(
And this is different as mine stays on, just i get no image on the monitor, ive tried the PSU and GFX, i will test mobo and CPU at a later date
Thanks for the advice mate
