A mate of mine want's a new PC and has a budget of £700. He's adamant he needs 16GB RAM for some new game that's coming out in December and is a huge Civ player. He's mentioned having troubles with Civ + Addons when using 4GB RAM.
It will be mainly used for Civ and other Civ type games but must be able to play more demanding stuff.
I'm not up on current hardware as I last upgraded in 2009 so appreciate any specs you can fire this way.
