Computer Standby

Just a simple question , i put my pc on standby for up to 3 - 4 hours would this be safe , i know it sounds silly but i am still learning

Sometimes i put my computer in standby overnight so when i press power button its on instantly without the load up sequence

Very strange this new standby mode on this new computer, the computer looks like its off but when u press power button on case theres no bootup it goes instead straight to desktop. Weird how it does that lol.

It is safe to do, but only if you don't overclock you CPU/RAM.
