hey guys

ordered a titan goliath with a scout case a couple weeks ago and been really happy with (thank you ocuk) but i have a weird question when it starts up

for the past two days when i have turned on the computer for the first time of the day the computer switches on like normal. everything comes on lights, fans etc then everything completely seems to switch off for about a second and then automatically comes back on like normal and loads up.

now this only does it during the very first startup of the day and doesn't do it if i turn it on again later on in the day.

so my question is that is this a normal thing to happen or is it something to be worried about

Do you turn it off at the mains/unplug it between use?
Lots of motherboards nowadays will do a "test" boot from cold to ensure safe settings. My old MSI board used to "double boot" after a powercut, and it always made me do a double take.

A lot of the X58A chipset boards do this.

Mine is slower on first boot.
As has been said it like double checks voltages and stuff to ensure a safe boot..

No need to worry

:)

same with me, and its x58 chipset with i7 920 oc'd to 4.2. i had originally thought it was due to overclocking, but there's nothing that seems to change it. sometimes even my display takes ages to load up aswell. just one of those wierd little things technology loves to do
