Hey,

So my PC stops displaying signal sometimes while under load and after the display turns off I have to turn off the PC and leave it for 10 or so minutes or it won't post.

So far i've tried
New PSU
Fresh install of windows
Underclocking GPU
Changing monitor HZ
Using a different monitor/cables
GPU in a different PCI slot

I've put the GPU in a different computer and stressed test it but do not get the same issue

Hoping that someone here knows how to fix this problem!

Thanks

Maybe it’s the caps on your motherboard. Have a look at them for signs of bulging. Unlikely to happen in a boards expected lifetime if machine used averagely.

Can't say I've had said experience before.

I'd add:
1) re-pasting the CPU
2) Reseat RAM in their slots
3) Clean out any case filters

To the list of things you can try.

I had a possibly similar issue with my GTX 1070 SC, particularly if I used NVENC for a while in OBS. It would be happy streaming for hours, but then after closing down the stream and doing other stuff, the image would freeze or drop to black. However the rest of the PC kept on apparently working OK - audio kept on playing, could still see network shares on the machine, etc. I'd have to power cycle the PC to get display back, but that didn't always work. I thought I'd actually killed my £££ monitor with it once, its DisplayPort stopped working entirely after a crash-to-black and not even another PC output would show on its DisplayPort input.

I ended up underclocking the GPU by ~250 MHz and never using NVENC, it stayed stable until I got a new GPU.
