Computer stores in vegas

When it was $2:£1 this was worth doing, given you'll get no warranty on what you buy I don't think there's a decent enough saving to be had.

Load up on clothes instead, take the shirt on your back and buy suitcases in LV. That's where the good deals are.

shopping the US = clothes not tech these days, even if you can hit the online etailers there (which is hard with a UK CCard and a hotel address) the savings arnet huge these days.and remember to report it al to customs on the way home ;)

Back in the $2=£1 days i remeber coming through customs with a bloke on my plane back from huston with 3 PS3 boxes and him wheeling them through customs, i as dieing to see him get stopped but the flight from Lagos had just landed and customs had everyone from that flight lined up against the wall and was kinda busy with them, sniffer dogs the lot.

You're going to Vegas and you're looking for a computer hardware store???

I think my nerdometer just exploded!

You are right but im only buying stuff if I have money left from gambling drinking and maybe a stripper or two or maybe just get married only $55

When we visited in October I found clothes didn't even offer that much of a saving to be honest if you're used to internet shopping. The Addidas shop in the outlet mall for trainers however ;)

Anyway you can buy stuff anywhere, use the money to shoot an AK47 or Uzi or something, much more interesting than going on holiday and buying clothes :D

a shop called Frys might be an option.

+1, a massive hardware store (for pcs and general tvs etc. stuff).

bestbuy is also very good there, quite a few outlets. Prices are much better than UK, even with VAT added.

As for clothes, again they are much cheaper (obviously NOT at malls although there are many good bargains there as well, there are many individual warehouse style outlets that you can go and buy dirt cheap branded clothes).

remember that in all likelihood anything you buy at the store there will not be covered by warranty once you bring it here. Don't ask store staff, they are clueless and they will make things up just to sell to you (esp. if they see you are a tourist = not coming back). Check out the websites of the companies to see what warranty coverage they are offering (e.g. cameras offer international warranties only for the body, not the lenses).
